Small heavy clock

The clock is 12 cm high, 11 cm wide, and 6.5 cm deep. You would think that it almost form a cube, but the clock has a slanted design, giving the clock face an incline and making it easy to read. Functional as a clock for telling the time, beautiful as a small ornate interior design object.

Concrete and wood

The clock and the hands are of refined concrete. The clock face is made from a thin layer of oak. Making a small object out of concrete is a meticulous task, requiring concentration and precision. A meticulous task, because small concrete shapes and thin layers of wood are sensitive and fragile materials.

Character comes with age

For this reason, the designers have chosen not to finish the materials, so they will gain more character with the passing of time. The concrete casing will dry over the course of time and will gain more small holes through this process. The wood will slowly color as a result of exposure to the air. The small format, as well as the choice of leaving the materials unfinished, are what sets this clock apart.

Turquoise tip on the hand

As a witty accent, the designers gave the minute hand a colored tip. This clock has a concrete minute hand with a turquoise-colored tip.
