Dutch Duo Design Button Vase White/Wood

This special vase, based on a simple button, consists of 15 buttons and 8 glass test tubes. This allows you to decide for yourself what the vase will look like: you connect the buttons with the tubes in a composition that you find attractive. The Button vases are available in 2 versions: this version of beech plywood that is finished on both sides with a white layer of HPL (High Pressure Laminate) and a black MDF version. The Buttons are 12 cm in diameter and 1 cm thick.

Simple shapes

The Button design series shows that you can do more with a simple button than just close your coat. This series consists of a set of vases and two side tables. In the vases, the buttons are tied together with test tubes. At the tables, the legs string the Buttons (now the table tops) together. The original thing about this series is that you put the design together yourself and can determine how it will look like.

Titia Regterschot is the designer behind Dutch Duo Design, which offers a collection of home accessories, made in various materials and with different techniques. Each with a specific basic shape that Titia builds with; stacking, stringing, switching into an object with a usage function. Titia's own handwriting is characterized by a passion for repetitions, rhythms, graphic shapes and a modern, sleek design. Important sources of inspiration are 'Art Deco' and the Zero Movement.
