PakoMore than seventy years ago, Jaap Lopes-Cardozo started selling and distributing high-quality ironing patterns from his attic room in Amsterdam. He did not know at the time that he was at the start of a family business, but Juan Roest is now the third generation at the helm of Pako, based in Weesp, specializing in the production of handicraft items that you can find all over the world.
Production in-housePako has all steps of design and production of handicraft kits in-house. An important part of the production takes place on self-developed machines. Due to the flexible production, the embroidery kits can be continuously adapted to market demand. In addition to embroidery kits, Pako has developed useful embroidery accessories, such as the needle and thread holder and line counter.
CustomizationIn addition to a wide range of own designs in the various embroidery techniques, Pako also has a whole collection of licensed packages such as Miffy, Woezel & Pip, and Buurman en Buurman. Pako also provides tailor-made packages with a layout made to customer requirements or a layout made by the customer.
