To quickly find the desired product, we have divided our range into themes, product groups, and sections. We have also included a search window and filters, to help you select your specific needs.
Read below for more information about the various search functions and search topics.
The themes, product groups, and the tab to the designers and brands can be found in the menu bar at the top of each page.
Example: You´re looking for a lamp: Move your cursor to ‘Living’ in the menu bar and a menu will appear. Now click on ‘Lamps’ and all our lamps will be displayed.
At the top of the website, you will see a search window. If you type a keyword, product name, or designer name in this window and click on the 'magnifying glass' in the box next to it, then the search engine will start searching the entire webshop. The search bar is useful when you know exactly what you are looking for or if you want a suggestion. Note: a search engine only searches for products with the exact same words in the product name.
Example: You're looking for a ‘cutting board’ and all our cutting boards are displayed. Breadboards are not. Want to see breadboards as well? Enter both the search terms ‘cutting board breadboard’.
You can filter by price, colour, size, design, and brand. With the exception of the homepage and the navigation screens, all pages of the Holland Design & Gifts webshop have filters to select specific product properties.
Example: You're looking for a gift for a friend's interior. You want to spend a maximum of 25 euros. Go to the product group ‘Living’ and slide the right dot on the ‘price bar’ to the left. After several seconds the page will refresh, but now only displaying products of up to 25 euros.
We also have offers, promotions, discounts, and additional sale products. Are you interested in offers? Subscribe to our newsletter and you will be one of the first to be informed of sales and offers. Missed our newsletter? No problem, at the top of the page, next to the search window, you will see a red ‘SALE’ button. Click on this button and you will see a complete overview of products on sale. On the product page, you will recognize sales items by their red ‘Sale’ sticker.
To give you an idea of the products we offer, we have created specific themes to give you some inspiration. And on the product page, you will see the ‘recommendations’ heading with more tips. The heading ‘recommendations’ is based on what items are viewed and purchased the most. Furthermore, we know that designers sometimes create a series of products in a particular style. Multiple products in the same style result in beautiful combinations, make products stand out more, and enhance their effect. At the bottom of every product page, we draw your attention to other products by this designer under the heading ‘more by this designer’.
In the menu bar at the top of each page, you will find a 'designer & brands' tab. Using this tab you can visit the specific pages of designers and brands we work with. Follow these 4 steps to order a product:
Step 1: Select the product (in the right colour and size) you wish to purchase
Select your desired design: select the design, colour or size if multiple versions of the same product are available. Now select the number of products you wish to order.
Make your selection as follows: Select the colour, design, size, and amount by clicking on the ‘arrow facing down’. Select your choice from the ‘menu’ that appears.
Step 2: Place the article in your shopping cart
Place the article in your shopping cart by clicking on the orange button ‘add to shopping cart’. If you wish to purchase different colours and sizes of a specific product, please add them to your shopping cart one by one.
You can remove a product from your shopping cart or return it to the shop as follows: After clicking the button ‘add to shopping cart’ the ‘shopping cart’ page will appear automatically. Here you can view the products in your shopping cart. Any problems? You can easily remove the product from your shopping cart by clicking the grey cross in the top right corner. Want to continue shopping? Click on the grey ‘continue shopping’ button.
Step 3: Check your order. Agree with your order? Click on the orange ‘checkout’ bar.
You can redeem a gift certificate or coupon as follows: Wish to redeem a gift certificate or coupon? You can do so here. Click on the ‘radio button’ to indicate that you wish to redeem a voucher. A bar will appear, where you can enter the code. Check whether you have correctly entered the code and click on ‘apply’. The amount of rebate will be directly deducted from the order.
Step 4: Pay as follows
Enter your contact information and shipping address here. Create an account. Choose a payment method. Click on the orange ‘pay’ button.
You can create an account as follows: After entering all your contact information, you will see a ‘create account’ field on the bottom left side of the page. When you create an account with your email address and chosen password, you won´t have to enter your contact information the next time you place an order. Created an account before? Click on the orange field on the upper left of the page. Log in and the webshop will automatically retrieve your contact information. Please check to be sure the information is correct.
Below is a product on the product page at www.shop.holland.com you will see whether a product is in stock. Products that are not in stock are displayed in the Holland Design & Gifts webshop so you know what we have on offer. Want to know when a specific product will be in stock again? Please mail our customer service through the button below. They can inform you about the stock and delivery of our suppliers. We keep all our products at a minimum stock. This ensures that our purchasing department is alerted when an item needs to be reordered. Because we offer many products that are handmade or are produced abroad, some articles may be out of stock. It can also happen that someone else or you place the final article in your shopping cart. The stock notification then changes to 'not in stock' and the product can no longer be ordered. As in a retail shop, your shopping cart is a cart in which you place all your products. You can place a product in your virtual shopping cart by clicking the orange ‘add to shopping cart’ button on the product page. If you wish you wish to order multiple colours or sizes of the same product or additional products, you can place them in your shopping cart one by one. Every time you add a product to your shopping cart, your virtual shopping cart will open automatically.
You can remove a product or return the shop as follows: After clicking the button ‘add to shopping cart’ the ‘shopping cart’ page will appear automatically. Here you can view the products in your shopping cart. Any problems? You can easily remove the product from your shopping cart by clicking the grey cross in the top right corner. Wish to continue shopping? Click on the grey ‘continue shopping’ bar.
The product counter in our webshop will not go beyond 10. Wish to order 11 or 18 articles? Please contact our customer support via the button below. Are you a business client with a valid Chamber of Commerce number then you can place a business order? Forgotten to order something, ordered the wrong product, or entered the wrong shipping address, anything that makes you decide to change or cancel your order
Forgotten to order a product or would you have preferred to order more? Please place an additional order. Our ordering process is completely automated and we deliver fast. If we interrupt this process, the risk of incorrect deliveries is high. Placed the wrong order or want to cancel your order? We recommend returning the order within 14 days. Read 'return' for more information on how to return your order. If you want to cancel your order please phone as quickly as possible, so we can try to interfere in the process of order picking. Due to the fully automated process, we can not guarantee success. If the attempt to cancel your order is successful we will charge you 12,95 euro administration costs.
In order to order and pay at Holland Design & Gifts, we require some of your contact information. Your contact information guarantees an accurate and speedy ordering process and also provides us with the necessary guarantee. We, therefore, ask you to create an account.
Logging in and creating an account
You can create an account in two places. Every page of our webshop has a login button in the top right corner. During the payment process, you can also easily create an account.
Log in before you place your order as follows: Click on ´login´ in the top left corner of any page. We kindly ask you to fill in some contact information. After entering this information and your password, please check if everything is correct and click on 'register'. You are now registered as one of our clients and can start ordering products.
Create an account during the ordering process as follows: We kindly ask you to fill in some contact information. After entering this information, you will see a ´create account´ button on the bottom left of the page. Already created an account before? Click the orange field on the top left of the page. Now log in and the webshop will automatically retrieve your contact information. Check if all the information is correct.
After creating an account with your email address and personal password, you won't have to enter your contact information the next time you place an order.
We will handle your personal information with great care. Read more about our privacy policies under 'Privacy'.
After leaving our webshop you will automatically be logged out. Want to be sure you're logged out? Click on the 'log out'' button in the top right corner of the page. The 'log out' button will change into a 'log in' button. Once you see the 'login' button you can assume that you are logged out.
Have you moved or have you just been married and taken the name of your husband? Or have you changed your personal email address?.
You can change or delete your account information as follows: Log in with the 'login' button in the top right corner of the page. Enter your email address and password. You will now see the 'My Information' page. Here you can change your name, email address, password, and delivery address. You can also delete your account here.
Upon the creation of your account, we asked you to enter a password. This password is personal and the key to your account. We recommend you choose a password that isn't too obvious. It is better to choose a password with variations in letters, numbers, and capitals.
Forgotten your password?. No problem. It can happen to anyone
You can recover your password as follows: Log in with the 'login' button in the top right corner of the page. Enter your email address and click on 'Forgotten password´. Within minutes you will receive an email with a link to reset your password. Click on the link and create a new password.
This password is personal and is the key to your account. We recommend you choose a password that isn't too obvious. It is better to choose a password with variations in letters, numbers, and capitals.
Safe payment environment
Holland Design & Gifts provides easy and safe shopping and payment experience. We use a secured SSL connection, with which all private information is completely encrypted. You don't require any specific software to complete your payment with SSL. You can recognize a safe SSL connection by the 'green lock' in front of the address bar of your browser (in front of the URL of this webshop). Docdata Payment, a renowned and reliable 'Payments Service Provider' provides our payment system. As a result, you can safely and reliably shop and Holland Design & Gifts.
To make the payment process as easy as possible for you, we offer a wide range of payment options. Below is a list (including an explanation) of these payment options.
Payment through iDEAL is safe and fast. It is based on Internet banking and is similar to pinning. You complete the transaction in the trusted payment environment of your bank. Banks that support iDEAL are (Dutch banks): ABN Amro, ASN Bank, Friesland Bank, ING, Fortis Bank, Knab, Rabobank, Regiobank, SNS Bank, Triodos Bank and Van Lanschot. With Visa, American Express, or Mastercard credit cards
You can also pay with your Visa card, Mastercard, or American Express card. After choosing a payment method, enter your credit card number, the expiry date, and the CID/CVC code. This last code is located on the back of your credit card and consists of 3 numbers. Keep your credit card at hand!
Do you have a PayPal account? Then you can immediately pay online using your PayPal account. Your payment will immediately be authorized online, so you immediately know whether the payment has been approved or not.
Later payment using Klarna, Afterpay, a bank transfer, or payment upon receival is not possible.
Payment from abroad

Belgian customers can use Bancontact / Mister Cash for their online payments. With Bancontact / Mister Cash you can immediately pay for an order if you own a Belgian bank account and are registered with Bancontact / Mister Cash. Do you live permanently outside the EU, but are you visiting the Netherlands, and have you shopped online with us on shop.holland.com? Ask for a Premier Tax-Free form to come via email@example.com. Holland Design & Gifts is a member of Premier Tax-Free. We will send you a completed form in pdf format, with which you get to the Border Exchange ticket office "GWK Travelex" can receive a stamp on your form. With this stamped form you can at Premier Tax-Free your VAT refund. Conditions in order to get your VAT back: 1) you live permanently outside the EU, 2) you have purchased for more than 50 euro on 1 day and 3) you take the purchases within 90 days and unopened home and 4) you have a stamped form from the store and the (Border) Exchange in the country of purchase. Holland Design & Gifts has an extremely varied assortment of products on offer. We deliver worldwide. Well packed, on time, and with friendly delivery. We achieve this through cooperation with our partners.
First of all, over a hundred designers whose products we have on offer. But also the people at Docdata, PostNL, GLS, DHL, FedEx, USPS, and UPS who deliver our orders. Cream, our web builders, and ExpandOnline, thanks to whom you can easily find us online. A special mention deserves to go to our collaboration with NBTC Holland Marketing, with who we spread Dutch culture and Dutch designer products abroad.
Holland Design & Gifts delivers all over the world. The costs may vary. Delivering a package to Zoetermeer in the Netherlands is a lot cheaper than delivering a package in Australia. The chart below shows a complete overview of delivery costs and times per country. Note: Holland Design & Gifts is closed on January 1th, Eastern, May 4th and 5th, Ascension, Pentecost, 5th and 25th/26th of December.
We deliver anywhere, at home, your neighbours, the office, around the world; but not at a PO Box number
For deliveries within the Netherlands, we work together with PostNL. You can have your order delivered to your home address, your neighbours, office, and if the delivery is a gift, at the address of the receiver. We deliver to any address, even outside the Netherlands. But it has to be an actual address, where we can hand over your order to an actual person. We, therefore, don't deliver to PO Box numbers. You are personally responsible for the delivery address you specify. Make sure you don't make any mistakes! Tip: choose a delivery address where it is most likely that someone is present upon delivery (preferably someone you know) and an address that is easy to find and reach.
Change delivery address
Entered the wrong delivery address? Do not wait, but call or WhatsApp our customer service IMMEDIATELY at 0031 (0) 6 - 239 59 841 (Mon - Fri 9 am to 9 pm CET and Sat 9 am to 5 pm CET). Keep your order number at hand, so the customer service can look up your order in the system and subsequently change the delivery address. Keep in mind that as soon as we receive your order we immediately process it. We, therefore, advise calling us as soon as possible in case you want to change any information.
It is not possible to pick up an order at our warehouse. Unfortunately, our warehouse and ordering process is not set up for this. Pick-up of a package at a PostNL service point is not (yet) possible.
Once your order is received, we reserve the product for you. The products are gathered shortly after order and placed ready for transport. The process is completely automated and is so fast that there is little time between your order and the actual shipment. As a result, it is difficult for us to make any changes to your order or delivery address. Once your order is ready for shipment, we will send you an email with an order confirmation. We will inform you as soon as possible once your order is about to ship. Once the packages have arrived at our carrier(s) - PostNL for the Netherlands and Belgium; UPS for the rest of the world - you will receive an email with a 'Track & Trace' code. Track&Trace is a handy way to track your package or shipment. By entering the specific code and postcode on the website of PostNL or UPS, you are immediately notified of the status of your order. You'll know exactly where your package is. You'll also see whether the shipment is on its way to the delivery address. Visit the website Postnl.nl for more information about their Track & Trace system or UPS.com for similar information.
It may happen that at the time of delivery nobody is home to receive the package. PostNL will try to deliver the package to your neighbours. If successful, you will find a PostNL card in your mailbox. If not, PostNL will try to deliver your package the following day. If you or your neighbours are not at home the following day either, PostNL will send your shipment to a PostNL service point in your neighbourhood. Your package will remain there for 2 weeks, so you'll have sufficient time to pick it up. After 2 weeks PostNL will send the package back to us. Was your package not delivered and didn't you receive a message about it being delivered to your neighbours or a service point? Not satisfied with your product? Too small, or too large? The colour may disappoint. Does it not match your interior or does the product not function properly? No problem. You can return your product to us within 14 days. Some products cannot be returned. Please see the 'exceptions' for more information on what products (and why) cannot be returned. The right of rescission (formerly withdrawal)
What was formerly called the right of withdrawal and often referred to as the right of return, will start June 13, 2014, be called the right of rescission? The right of rescission means that you can terminate an order/purchase agreement. Are you not satisfied with one or multiple products and want your money back? Please fill out the attached 'return form' and send the 'undesirable' items back to us. You then use your right of rescission. The right of rescission is subject to several conditions. Besides the reflection period within which you can send a product back, several articles fall in the exceptions category.
Your right of rescission expires at the moment we order, purchase, engrave, package (or any other customized service) specific goods at your personal request. We always inform you about the 'dissolution conditions' before we agree to such a custom order.
You are free to assess your ordered products. You'll have a 14 day reflection period. Not satisfied with a product? Then you can return the product within 14 days* of receipt.
*14 days include Saturdays and Sundays.
It may happen that a product turns out to be disappointing. You may want to return such a product. You can only return a product for the following reasons for return:
1: The item is defective or arrived damaged (please do send us an email with pictures of the damage and of the packaging. We assess the ideal solution for each situation, taking into account the environment and costs.)
2: The item becomes defective within the warranty period (some products - mainly electronic or mechanical - are warranted)
3: You've received the wrong product. The delivery note shows the correct article but said the article was not delivered
4: You've received the wrong product. The product and delivery note correspond, but it is not the product you ordered
5: The product is unusable (this reason applies to electrical appliances or lamps, to which different countries apply varying standards of use)
6: The product does not meet your expectations*
7: Without stating reasons, provided that the item is not subject to the following exceptions
*We do our utmost to describe our products as clearly as possible with the specifications. Many of our products are handmade. These handmade products can show minor deviations in colour, size, structure, shape, or design. When you purchase a handmade product you agree that there may be minor deviations. Depending on how your screen is calibrated, there may be deviations in the appearance of the colour of the product. We cannot be held responsible for this.
Want to return your order? Please follow these 5 steps:
1: Fill out the return form (the return form can be found as a PDF file below). Indicate the product you wish to return. This is necessary for proper administrative processing.
This return form is a PDF file and can be filled out digitally and printed or printed and filled out by hand. Not sure whether you can return your product? 2: Please return the product undamaged, in the original packaging, and include the return form to the return address.
You can find the return address on the return form. Cut the label with the return address and stick it (visibly) on the parcel. Return costs are at your own expense.
3: Upon receipt of your return package, we will send you a similar replacement product (if available) or we will refund the purchase 14 days after receipt of your return by transferring the amount to your bank account
Packaging tip: Many of our products are fragile. Please use the original packaging, including packaging material. This considerably reduces the possibility of damage during shipment.

As soon as we receive your return product, we will check whether the return is in accordance with the 'right of rescission, our General Conditions, the warranty and terms, and conditions for returns. If everything is correct, we will transfer the amount of your return product to your bank account within 14 days after receipt. This bank account should correspond with the information you filled out on the return form. We reserve the right to only refund the shipping costs for delivery if you have returned the complete order and if you have opted for a standard shipping method (if you choose for insured mail or express mail, we will not refund the complete shipping costs but only the basic rate of your postage). We withhold reimbursement until we have received the products back unless you have proven that you have sent the products back to us.

The statutory warranty applies to all the products on our website. A statutory warranty means that a product must work to your reasonable expectations. Holland Design & Gifts is responsible for the delivery of a high-quality product. A product must meet basic expectations. If this is not the case, then we will take care of the repair, replacement, or even refunds of the purchase price (in case there is no other solution). There is no period attached to the right of warranty; some products last longer than others and the expectations of one product are higher/different than another. These regulations are specified in the law and in our Terms and Conditions.
A product must thus meet basic expectations. A product should not show signs of defects; defects that are not expected during the normal lifetime of the product. In short; Holland Design & Gifts is committed to resolving any issues you have with products ordered from our webshop. If your product is defective and falls within the warranty period of the said product, then we will replace or repair the product at no charge. We ask you to send the defective product to Holland Design & Gifts. Please first contact our customer support using the button below. We´ll try to quickly resolve the situation.

Holland Design & Gifts is a platform for designer products made in the Netherlands. Designs of high quality, but which have seen too little limelight. We have the ambition to make this Dutch designer works more accessible for a broad and international audience. Because we deliver products worldwide, for now, we only focus on living and fashion accessories, designs, and products that are easily and inexpensively be able to ship abroad.

With these data, we need to confirm your order by email and deliver your order to the address you provided. We only use your phone number to contact you if we think something is not right with your order or at the address.
When you receive a defective item or an incomplete order and you are entitled to a refund, then we will refund through the same checkout process as you have used for payment. If the refundable amount for some reason is higher than the amount paid, then we need an alternative path, since we cannot deposit back more money via our secure standard payment service than you have paid. In this case, we will ask you for a bank account number via email.

We only collect information to send orders and to inform you about the delivery or about our news. To make it easier, you can create an account on our webshop. Your personal data will be remembered, so you don't need to fill out address data again when placing a new order. You decide whether you want to create an account or to fill out the information the next time all over again. Whether you follow us through social media or via our newsletter is also up to you. Does Holland Design & Gifts transfer data across borders or to other organizations?
We share your information only with our partners, who help us to get your order delivered. We work with Docdata Payments in Utrecht to facilitate payments and refunds. Once you place your order with us your data will be sent via a secure network on a secure server that is in control of our e-commerce partner Cream in Berkel & Rodenrijs. Your order will be collected by our logistics partner Misi Fulfilment in Zoetermeer and handed over to a carrier to deliver your order at the address you provided. Misi works with several carriers. Check out misi.nl to see which carrier you may expect at the door. As a Dutch company we only work with companies within the Netherlands (however packages may be delivered by international carriers). All our data are stored in The Netherlands and not sent abroad.
How secure is our network?
We make sure that the access to our network is safe, regularly checked, and refreshed, and is limited to those employees, who need your data to deliver our products and services. Both wired and wireless connections are accessible only to the staff who work in our office or who work at the offices of our partners.
